Ultrasound found 10mm Choroid Plexus Cyst on our baby's brain! Please Read!? - process to check for cysts on ovaries
My husband and I have been trying to concieve for over 2 years and is a struggle and a painful process. Now finally pregnant with our 1st and our hearts fell yesterday when the doctor says your baby has a cyst of 10 mm on the plexus of the brain. We are so devastated and feel anything we can do is wait and worry. I know it's not good for anxiety and stress about this b / c the purpose of our baby, but why not? He said he has not demonstrated the cyst and other anomalies and you have to do is sit and wait to test until 26 weeks and see if it decreased or disappeared. My question is: Has anyone else gone through this or knows someone and their baby was good? The baby's organs and general antaomy are all saying good and healthy for our doctors, and we should we worry? Thank you all!

In one of my 18 weeks scan, doctors thought they saw a plexus cyst in the brain of my son. I could not see clearly the shape of the rotation of the head, and I was unable to move. I went to several ultrasounds, so they too can see better, and took 3 attempts, because they too see something. Then they said, they will probably disappear, and that our baby would be nice.
Meanwhile, I was so afraid that our child a cable of 2 vessels, which had a sign of other congenital anomalies. In the end, my son was born perfectly healthy and happy with absolutely any kind of birth defects or health problems.
Try not to panic. Heard In fact, I every baby has a cyst on his brain at some point during their development, and almost all (eg 95-98%) were born perfect, and the cyst disappears in the third quarter.
We were told that my daughter was gone after a cyst on his brain and a few weeks was. She is so smart and healthy and have absolutely no problem now (3). Please do not worry. I pray all is well.
I have no personal experience but I know that is a good percentage of infants with cysts in his brain, a cyst decrease before reaching the end, I have heard many success stories.
ohh my! I'm sorry to hear that. I wish I could say I know, but I do not. I hope that things get better.
Hello!
I'm sorry it had to go through it, but the good news is that in most cases, the cyst resolved or disappear without consequences. Especially in healthy babies, and it sounds like yours in this category.
You may be wondering, if you want to check a baby's amnicentesis chromosomes. There is a risk that they seriously consider it. I had to check a 16 weeks to determine whether the Down's Syndrome, and I was very good.
Basically just try to think positively (I know it's hard), but note that this does not mean that they used to be a beautiful child, healthy child.
